What Duelix does
Duelix plans from the numbers you choose to enter. You do not need an account. Duelix does not connect to your bank and cannot move your money. The app does not use advertising, tracking or analytics tools.
Plans, expenses and imports
Your plan is saved in protected storage on your device when you choose Save. If you choose Sync, it uses your private iCloud database with an encrypted plan payload; we cannot see your iCloud data. Expense history stays in separate protected storage on your device, outside iCloud sync and automatic device backups. Only messages you paste and images you select are read. Text recognition happens on your device. Original messages and images are not saved or sent to cloud AI. You review extracted details before approving them.
Encrypted recovery
You can export your saved plan and expense history to a file encrypted with a passphrase you choose. Duelix does not keep that passphrase and cannot recover it. Wherever you store the file handles it under its own terms. Restoring replaces local expense history and opens the recovered plan for review; it does not save or sync it without your choice.
App lock
If you turn on app lock, Apple checks Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode on your device. Duelix does not receive biometric data. Your plan is also hidden in the app switcher.
Optional AI guidance
Guidance uses Amazon Nova 2 Lite through Duelix’s dedicated AWS service, and only after you agree and ask. Your question and a limited budget summary are then processed in AWS regions in the United States. Your full plan, salary, bill names and iCloud identity are not sent automatically. Avoid adding names or account numbers to a question. Duelix does not save questions or AI answers, and AWS does not store or review them for Amazon Nova or use them for training. Withdrawing permission stops new requests; it cannot undo processing of a question already sent. Answers may be wrong: the calculated result stays the reference, and AI cannot edit or save your plan.
Records that protect guidance
To prevent misuse, the guidance service keeps a device verification key created with Apple App Attest, verification counters, short-lived challenges and daily request counts. These contain no financial data. The verification key stays while it is in use; challenges and request counts expire within a few days. Error logs contain request IDs, status codes and technical runtime details, are not linked to you, and are deleted after seven days.
What the App Store label shows
Apple’s privacy label for Duelix lists Device ID and Product Interaction (the verification key and daily request counts, linked to your installation) and Other Diagnostic Data (error logs, not linked to you). All are used only to run app features. None is used for tracking.
Sample data
The optional sample plan uses fictional figures that stay in memory only. Resetting or leaving the sample clears it, and it never syncs to iCloud.
Saudi statistics
Published GASTAT figures provide historical context. Comparisons are calculated on your device without sharing your entries with GASTAT or a bank. National averages are not personal spending targets.
Apple services
iCloud, App Store downloads, and crash and usage reports are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple gives us aggregated usage and crash reports that do not identify you.
Not in this version
The current app has no bank connection and no account sign-in. Earlier test versions included a sandbox bank trial and an unfinished phone sign-in; neither is active in the App Store app. We will update this notice before adding any feature that processes new kinds of data.
Deletion and privacy requests
You can delete expenses in the app. Deleting the app removes its data from your device, but not your private iCloud copy, recovery files you exported, or the guidance security records described above. You can remove the iCloud copy from iCloud storage in your device settings. Email us to request access, correction or deletion of information we hold; we may need to confirm the request comes from you. We cannot retrieve data that exists only on your device or in your private iCloud account.
Earlier Duelix services
This notice describes the new personal finance app and website. Accounts and records from the earlier Duelix service are not automatically imported into financial plans. Replacing the website does not itself delete earlier service records. For a request about an earlier account, email aziz@azion-labs.com; do not send passwords or identity documents.
This website and email support
This is a static website hosted on Vercel. It has no contact form, tracking or analytics scripts, or advertising cookies. Vercel processes ordinary request metadata needed to serve and protect the site, such as IP address, browser information and request details; we do not promise a specific hosting-log retention period. Emailing support shares your email address, message and any attachments with us and our email provider for handling the request. Do not email sensitive financial or authentication details.
